Variations on the abundance theme

Often we are invited, via well-known channels of higher beings, to manifest our own abundance. We are urged to ‘think’ Abundance’ into our now, as opposed to thinking of abundance as some future bonus. Since 1991 during the 13 years of shoe-string-existence that we have experienced whilst living in France Yvonne and I have valiantly tried to adopt this outlook and it’s not easy. Who quantifies what is abundance, and also how much of it will be received by each individual?

We make no complaints because we have always had just enough of what we need to do our work here for the light. If an unexpectedly large household bill arrives the means to pay it always somehow appears just when needed. Health-wise despite ups and downs we have been fairly fortunate for a couple that physically aren’t getting any younger (we moved to France in my mid-fifties). Is this the much-heralded abundance? The last time we saw our grand children was in 1991, they were small children, and today they are adults contemplating marriage. To visit England and our far-flung relatives there is beyond our means whilst also maintaining the expense of our home and life in France, so in a way we have chosen to be trapped by our choice to work here for spirit.

By the same token so far, the same limited income or lack of abundance has barred us from joining large groups of light workers expensively shuffling around the globe ‘taking our light’ and taking part in ethereal-toned group ceremonies performed at Mount Shasta or the Sphinx, or the many other world-famous sacred sites. Much as we’d love to visit these places so far it hasn’t been possible, so what do we conclude from this?

We have to conclude that the receiving of abundance is governed by our previously made agreement to merge our soul plans in with our Creator’s ‘Greater Plan’. This was of course very nice when we agreed to that merger but not quite the same when we have to then live it moment by moment with no tangible knowledge as to the eventual outcome. We wouldn’t be human if we didn’t sometimes feel low and disappointed that the results of 13 years of light work mostly remain hidden from us, and we certainly have tried to trigger abundance with our meditations, Ascension books and articles writing, artwork, and ascension support team website, but always that extra cash flow that would give us more options and freedom eludes us. In France we have people that we know but very few friends, mainly due to the language barrier and our own lack of fluency and lack of like-mindedness. For Yvonne and I this has meant several years of an almost total lack of stimulation from others, especially ascension-wise, and total reliance upon each other in our role of anchoring light. Everything points to the conclusion that all of this was meant to be, and is all part of the plan. So we support each other in our beliefs and we don’t lose heart (although we have a good old moan to spirit at times).

I’ve written this not as a hard luck story but to encourage the many light workers who may feel that their lack of personally manifested abundance is limiting what they possibly could achieve light work-wise with more available resources. Plodding around, as we must amid the physical illusion, our higher selves have a clearer view of our pre-planned path than we have, so trust higher self to know best. Your circumstances have deliberately placed you exactly where, to be most effective, you’re meant to be for now. Mostly you’ll never know what you’ve achieved but what does that matter?

As my elder brother Ronny (the wag of the family) used to say:

Money isn’t everything, but then again, who wants everything?
